od or md

    can the od substitute for the md when applying to ophthalmology? or is it strictly for md's only? :confused:

    Ophthalmology is a specialty of MDs, not ODs.

    Ophthalmology is a specialty of MD's and DO's, but not OD's. just to clarify:D
