We have spent months judiciously preparing

Plagued by dreams of diagnosis differentials
Too bad it takes 10 years to earn those credentials

Hopefully we will meet at our favored school
Inundated with study, we'll share a brew at Shannon O'Doul's

I have given my life to this pursuit

At times, it all feels like a sham

A's, GPA, MCAT, USMLE
Letters on the way to the two MD

My lines are becoming short and cruddy
