Hello,

I have been attempting to calculate PT school tuitions. I live in VA. I want to try to go to an in-state school, and was calculating the tuition for the entire program's length at ODU, and from what I can tell (unless I've made an error), that the cost of TUITION at ODU (not having factored in living expenses etc yet), is approximately $44,000? Does this sound like a reasonable number for the tuition for the PT program at ODU? It just seems really low, and I'm not sure if I've maybe miscalculated somewhere, or...? Thanks for any input.

Also, anyone know which PT schools are cheapest in the state of VA? Thanks.

That sounds about right to me for ODU. I live in VA as well, and most of the state schools in VA that I have seen are approximately 40-50K for the entire program, not including living expenses. I am not sure which state school is the cheapest, but the 3 public schools that I know of in VA are virginia commonwealth univ, ODU, and radford univ. I think all the other schools in VA are private schools, most of which I have seen cost 75K or more.

I calculated about $45k for all three years. That makes ODU and VCU appealing, should DPT students should minimize tuition. Unfortunately, neither of those schools can give you a straight answer about tuition. You have to go to the bursar's page and try to calculate it.
