# of MCAT Verbal Passages

Kaplan verbal practice tests have 6 passages and AAMC practice tests have 7 passages. For you recent January test takers, what was the number of passages on the January 2007 MCAT?

-Anything is better than the old format with 9 passages!!!

The new MCAT CBT is definitely 7 passages per test (on average, 600 words per passage).

kaplan has changed most of their full lengths to 7 passages. When the aamc first said they were switching to the cbt they originally came out with 6 passages but then they changed it thats why all the prep companies have been slow with the correct number of passages.
