# of seats open at Tufts...

What's your take on Tufts? How many seats are still open? For the people who already interviewed there, did you like the surrounding area?

Thanks!

I would argue that Tufts still has several seats left. As for the surrounding area...I think it was different, yet cool. The school's really close to china town and the atmosphere felt professional. Inside the school felt a tad crowded but, eh, it's Boston for heaven's sake.

To answer your question, I interviewed at Tufts the other day and they have only filled 77 seats out of 165. I know the adcom was meeting yesterday and sending out letters on Fri. Has anyone who recently interviewed had their status changed on aadsas?

Hm, half the seats filled. Not bad. Interviewing there soon.:scared:

qwerty when are you interviewing??? i'm going to be there on the 4th

Yeah i interviewed there last week and they gave us the same stats. No update for my aadsas either...waiting with baited breath. good luck everyone.

well i interviewed there 2 weeks ago and they also said ~77 seats were filled....BUT they had JUST sent out a batch of acceptances to which those applicants hadn;t had the time to send in their deposits yet at the time of my interview. and on top of that tufts is about to send out another batch tomorrow (2/1/08). needless to say, if i get an acceptance tomorrow u can bet there will be 76 seats left. LOL.

I interviewed at Tufts on Monday the 28th. They had filled 77 seats and had just sent out 60-something offers. Not everyone in the latest batch will accept. There are still plenty of spots left.

At the rate they are going it looks like they won't have their class filled by March 1st. On January 17th it was 68. There are bound to be more people accepting offers the later it gets. They could well have just 10 or 20 spots left by March.

I hope they don't have it filled. I am interviewing there on Feb 28th, and I am pretty sure I'll be going if I am accepted.

does anyone know how many people Tufts interview on each day? thanx

there were 13 on my day. tufts is pretty much a lil past the middle of their interview cycle. they started later than most other schools

I think late Feb interviews will have a little less than 13 students. By then, many applicants would have paid their deposits to other schools.

I have heard earlier you interview there the better....

Can you go to an interview if you already have accepted an offer and paid the deposist?

Boston seems nice. I would like to see if Tufts, by chance, is a better school than UF. I might be a little bias bc staying another 4 years at UF is cool but reality is setting in and setting in quick.

I personally feel that it's a "dick" move to make to UFCD and other pre-dental students if I go to the interview. Does AADSAS say anything about this?
