In the entering class of 100 students at a hypothetical (average) US medical school, what number of students were accepted off the waitlist. Best guess? Is it 10-20% or more like 50-60%?

Thanks.

Varies vary much from school to school. I know one school where it is more like 70% and another where it is about 40-50% (I know these as facts from the adcom).

It really depends what tier the school is in, in the sense that lower tier schools may be pulling more off thier waitlists as people withdraw to go to higher tier schools. Cant speak to this as fact though.

I would say 25-33% as a very rough estimate  ...but it depends on the tier of the school as an above poster mentioned.
