off hold at UCI or UCSD?

Has anyone's status recently changed from "on hold?" I'm begining to feel discouraged about receiving an interview at UCI or UCSD. Anyone else having the same experience as me?

just to let you guys know . . . I heard that UCI was having administrative problems so that's why a lot of people are on hold.

sorry to hear that. when was your secondary completed? mine was done in 8/23 and still not a bit of correspondence since....

checked my sd status yesterday. final decision letter sent 2/12 🙁
still under review at uci.

My secondary was completed in september and I got the "final decision letter sent" designation a couple days ago.

So if I didn't get a final decision letter yet on my status page they're saying theres still a chance!!! (Wow reminds me of that Jim Carrey line in Dumb and Dumber) 😀

dang, to think of it my secondary was done like in sept. looks like they're starting to send out the rejects for some of the ON HOLD ppl. 3 more cali schools to go....

on a more positive note...
i was on hold at uci for about 2 months. then they were re-reviewing my app and i got an interview. woo-hoo! good luck you guys. don't give up hope.

As a note of encouragement to everyone out there, I got off of hold at UCSD. I was on pre-interview hold since September 19, and recently got an interview on Feb 25...so keep the faith people. 🙂

just for stats... count another one on hold at both ucsd and uci and rejected by ucsd (got the final decision letter sent on 2/12) -still on hold at uci

Same as above ... i was on hold for interview at UCSD and UCI, final decision letter sent (rejection) from UCSD on 2/13/2003, still on hold at UCI.

my app was complete there on 9/10 then i was put on hold since 10/9 and i haven't heard a thing from them yet...i checked my status and nothing is there yet about a letter being sent but it probably will be soon---aggggghhhh...it is very frustrating for everyone i know.
