Alright, enough about interviews and secondaries and MCAT scores. It's time to discuss what really matters..the 2004-05 National Football League.

...all i can say is...

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!

broncos all the way baby, realistically i see ravens and the eagles in the superbowl. But broncos still own 😀

i know its sentimental bs and i know they always suck, but cant this year be the saints?

The Seahawks should definitely have a say in Philly getting out of the NFC, but it will be tough......

New England Patriots will win the superbowl.

But before it goes there let the record show that the steelers will at least crush the Ravens and Browns, which is enough for me

Lions all the way!!!! They can do it ...

lions will be much better. they will definitely win the central this year.

Every team sucks in the NFL unless its the DALLAS COWBOYS! Go Testaverde, Keyshawn, Eddie George, and my boy Roy Williams!

hahaha even though i despised the cowboys in the past...i love them now cause of the vinny / keyshawn reunion...im a die hard jets fan and now they're back together...much love to vinny for keepin it real at 41 years young

lions may be surprise team of the year...harrington has all the weapons he needs plus mooch...

but in the end...the jets are gonna run wild..too many weapons!!!

****ing patriots all the way... anyone who thinks otherwise is a plain *******.

Childish insults mean little to me. 🙄 The truth of the matter is that the Pats better hope they get home-field advantage again or else it's all over. I don't think they've proven that they can win on someone else's field (neutral Super Bowl fields aside).

Yeah, the lions could have a killer offense. Their WRs are awesome, with Rogers, Williams, Streets, and Hakim. Harrington could have a much better year passing to these guys. Plus, they might actually have a running game for the first time since Barry Sanders retired (hopefully Kevin Jones can pull through). Their offense should be solid. Hopefully, their defense can stay up to par. Then, they can be a playoff team at the very least.

i guess winning 15 games in a row is just not enough to prove that a team can win on the road... and that's if you're a *******, of course.

Nobody cares about football. This belongs in the lounge.

I meant in the playoffs, dingus! They haven't had to travel to someone else's field to play when it really counted.

what do you want them to do? they were dominant in the regular season and earned home-field advantage, not that it would mattered especially against a lucky team like the panthers who shouldn't even have made the playoffs in the first place... if you win almost every game you play in the regular season, odds are that nobody's gonna beat you in the playoffs. the nfc team that had home-field advantage didn't win all their games in the playoffs so don't talk like home-field advantage is the all-powerful deteminant of who is the better team.

go learn something about football before you start yappin and just pray that your panthers don't have a losing record this season.

oh, and one more thing i forgot to mention... *******.

dont talk about luck if you want to talk about the patriots...both superbowls came down to a last minute field goal...hardly convincing victories. tom brady is the most over rated quarterback in the world, all beliceck tells charlie weiss to do is to put handcuffs on tom brady to make sure he doesnt throw interceptions. how dare people compare him to Joe Montana...montana went out and WON the superbowls...he didnt just sit back and let the defense keep him in the game

the panthers were getting blown out for 90% of the game, so you wanna call their combeback lucky because they didn't deserve it for the way they played 90% of the game? think about what you're saying... your rationale is something like this: i don't like this team but they're dominant and keep winning, so i'm going to say they're lucky. sounds pretty stupid to me. and by the way, i don't think brady and montana are all that similar. montana had offensive weapons around him and brady has a good defense but no offensive weapons and not even a mediocre running game to help out his passing game... yet they both just win in their respective systems. it's hard to argue against the fact that it's more difficult to be so dominant these days than it was in the montana era... you just gotta look at how many teams are seriously competitive now vs. then... and like i said, the patriots don't have offensive weapons like the niners did so you can debate who's really the better qb... you know what i think and i know what you think but neither of us is winning the argument...

thank you for enlightening us to that universal truth. i could only imagine the dire conditions you overcame in developing such a sound and rational reason for resenting something like the national football league. for those of us with brains, we give you our sincerest gratitude.

Go Birds!!!

Yup, your typical football fan.
Rather than being a spectator and watching a bunch of idiots tossing around a football, I go actually go outside myself and play sports.

True, the fact that I was decent collegiate athlete probably doesn't rival your skils at tossing the frisbee around. You know, how can i be perceived as a "jock" and an aspiring medical student, that's an aspect of my life I may never come to terms with...truly haunting.

Damn, it be so much easier if I was a football player!

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!

Just because you watched college football doesn't mean you were an "athlete".😀

Actually playing football keeps you in shape and is fun, now tell me whats so great about watching a bunch of losers play.

I feel like I'm talking with someone who has the intellectual and emotional maturity of a 12 year old, anyway my athletic career is admirable and needs no justification, believe what you will. And i refuse to lay out all the reasons I love watching the NFL, that would be a lifetime worth of study in and of itself. But I'll entertain you with one itsy bitty reason I enjoy being a spectator, I love to know their are individuals out there, who in an unswerving manner and under the most pressing conditions, can crush another person's hopes and reap the rewards of a lifetime worth of effort. That is Great! something you obviously have little awareness of.

kstone i'm with you... i was an NCAA division I athlete for 4 years and i've realized that a lot of pre-meds just can't come to terms with the fact that there are others who do as well as them academically and yet have these athletic talents in addition that completely put them, their obsessive study habits, and lack of social life to shame. such is life, but we're the ones who will represent the real ballers and badasses of the medical profession.

If your able to play college sports and get good grades so you can get into med school, then good for you. Nobody else gives a crap.

Um, no it wouldn't. It would be a lifetime of time wasted that could have been spent better otherwise. While your wasting hours of your time every week watching a bunch of *****s, I'm either playing outside myself, hanging out with my friends, studying, or working.

This and the other useless football thread belong in Everyone.

Saints Super Bowl bound in 04
no doubt

River City Relay...wide right...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
