congrats miss gator michigan....now uve just got to get rid of the gator part
welcome to michigan!
Does anyone have any info on housing? Does anyone need a roommate??
There is one person in my class(same as MUZ's) that got in day before the school started so don't give up hope. anyone who wants to go to michigan has a shot untill the school starts.
What?!?! The day before school started? That is crazy. How did that person find some place to stay? I can't even fathom that situation. So there is still hope for me. I interview in Feb. and Michigan is my 1st choice.
I interviewed at michigan NOV 17 and still havent received anything yet. Im getting really worried now. I really wanna be at Michigan. Its my number one. I dont no what I should be doing. I have waited 2 months already im dying. I wanna get in!
if you get into your #1 choice than finding a place to live is least of your concern at that point becasue you have chance to go where you want to go to. I would take accepting day before school starts over not getting accepted at all and I think it is probably true for most people.
I believe the prices at Northwood are monthly because it says on the housing website that rent is due the last day of every monthFor you guys that are already attending dental school at Michigan, is it cheaper to live on or off campus?
I am starting to decide whether to live on/off campus, and the housing options that Michigan offers (through the school) is Northwood (I,II, etc). Well, the most affortable deal I found was 3 bedroom apt. at Northwood IV, student rate is $1164 ( i wonder if this is monthly or the price for the whole semester? now, if it is 3 people, then rent will be ~400/ month per person). Now, by living off/campus i am looking at a rent of ~700/person, including all other expenses such as electricity, cable .. etc.
My question is if this sounds about right to all of you who are already living at ann arbor? and what about the experience.. ? wouldnt it be better to live on-campus, since everybody 's main interest is to succeed in dental school?
I would really appreciate your comments .. thanks!

So, for you guys, what is considered to be between the normal range for housing at ann arbor??? Based on this, I can start looking for an apt and roomates.
And..... after all the work at dental school, do you guys even have time to spend at downtown??? dizzle23, how do you manage that?
I work hard and play hard...so I will make time to play hard..I'm a party girl and have to have a huge social life...I guess we'll see if I can handle it!!
I thought you were going to Arizona? Changed your mind?
Housing for U of M
Hey i signed a lease with 3 other D1 students last weekend on 730 Arbor street near the intersection of Hill and Street. We are in need of one more male and one more female if you are interested? That will make 3:3 in the house. Send me an email at [email protected] if you are interested. The rent is ~$600 a month + $40-70 in utilities. The house is only 1 year old
