so im currently applying to med school.. if i get accepted before my fall grades come out.... and i get a C (my FIRST C ever in college), will they retract the acceptance??
I think it depends on the school. Some care even about C's, but others just want you to at least pass. Still, I would try to avoid the D.
just make sure you get a C. i think i'll be getting one myself. no biggie. i just don't plan on sending updating transcripts until AFTER i get in (hopefully). -mota
right now, i am at a B / C border. i hope to get a B, but genetics is tough as hell. there is a 80% chance or more of me getting a C. and mota, you have to send in your grades after you get in.....
I think I might snake out a C in evolution this year... the prof. just doesn't like my essays... I'm not stressin it though... hopfully 5 A's and a C won't send adcoms into a rejection letter frenzy
I would kill myself because you have ended your chances of any acceptance whatsoever. Come on? A freakin' C and your trippin'? Dude, you are golden. Don't worry about it (freakin' gunners )
I thought I would get a C in Biochem this term. I worked my ass off studying for the final, made an A on it, and wound up with a B in the class. And this was after making a C, B, and D on the previous tests. You can do it; just study your ass off for the final and ask your prof if it's too late for extra credit (it doesn't hurt to ask).
Ok I think we might be getting a little too paranoid here. I don't think one C will do anything to erase 3-4 years of work. Just relax and do well on the final. Not the end of the world in my opinion. Good luck.
