fellow ucsf post-interview reject here! cheers to all of us.
to be honest tho, if i had gotten accepted to ucsf, i would have been in much much pain, after having gotten in ucsd. ucsd is a great school but obviously ucsf is better, and the school itself was my second choice after ucla, so i would have been stupid to not go. but the bay area is really not for me, so i think i would have picked san diego. but i would have been second guessing myself and feeling pretty lousy all the way to sd. or maybe i would ahve picked sf and have gone to a mucho mucho great school but have been miserable for 4 years.
