I got an e-mail from AMCAS that they received one of my transcripts and they said now that I submitted my app, I can only make changes to a few sections. However, I haven't submitted. I haven't even entered my essay or post-secondary responses and never gave a credit card. So, they don't really think I submitted the app, right? I just want to verify this because I'm scared that this is going to cause a problem!

Thanks <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />

Has this happened to other people? AMCAS doesn't really think I submitted my app, right?

i doubt they think that you submitted your app. it's probably just a glitch in their system that sends the wrong e-mail message. besides, isn't the first day you can submit your application on june 5? knowinng AMCAS, it is very unlikely that you could have "accidentally" submitted your application b/f this date.

this happened to someone else a week or two ago. try doing a search.

All I did was change my address yesterday on the 2002 application and this is what they sent me. Did you get the same email?

Hey Premed,
Something similar happened to somebody else on this board and it didn't turn out to be a problem. Seems like its a bug in their system....you can't submit anything till June.

So relax :)
