OOS acceptance! Interviewed 1/3!
OOS accepted!! received email around 1:45am. Interviewed on the 12
IS acceptance Interviewed on 1/4. My gmail is reserved only for vet school stuff so I was like "I heard my gmail phone beep at 1:47 AM, this must be investigated, Netflix can wait!"
IS accepted also!!! My email came at 1:45 am. I’m SO EXCITED!!!
Edit: I interviewed 1/4
So was this the "main wave" of acceptances that they were talking about? Or is this still the early decisions?
My SO just got in here OOS, interviewed (I think) on the 4th!! AND I'm accepted to their med school too I can't believe we did it
OOS acceptance by email at 1:44am! I interviewed on 1/12!

OOS ACCEPTED!! Interviewed 1/4. I’m honestly in shock
Congrats everyone!! We made it!! now that this whole thing is over, I need a drink. Haha
Do vet schools have second looks like med schools do?
So is it time to give up hope then if I haven’t heard anything?
I'm seriously wondering the same thing...
I think in the past they have sent out multiple waves at various points. When i talked to them recently, they said acceptances will go out through March. I wouldn’t give up hope yet!
OOS Acceptance!!!!! Interviewed 1/12 and emailed at 1:46AM!! I’m so freaking happy
Did anyone who interviewed the 26th hear yet?
Congrats to everyone! I'm so proud of you all! You future vets you!
IS acceptance!!! I interviewed 1/4 and got an email at 1:45am. I'm still in shock!!!

OOS acceptance!! Interviewed 1/4. I can’t believe it!!
When did u hear?
I heard back! I was pretty surprised considering it was about 10 days ago
How long after you accepted your seat did you get the e-mail to set your buckeye email up? I just got accepted this morning and paid my fee to reserve my seat but I wasn't sure how long it'll be until the other information comes.
Mine came later that day. But I was called for admission offer and got both emails later on that night. So I'm not sure the email process changes in this case or not.
And congrats! Excited to meet you in August!

hi guys, I didn’t receive an email, but I checked my admission status on my.osu.edu and found out I got accepted!
Where did you go to find your status?
buckeyelink.osu.edu and then click applicant center
Called Ohio—they will let us know, admission or rejection, by Friday.
Gotcha. Hopefully it’ll come later today but who knows. And thanks!! Looking forward to meeting you too!!
I'm not sure if I love this or hate this. Yikes.
I wonder if the waitlist emails will be sent out then too?
Congrats you all! The real fun starts sooner than you think, so take a deep breath, enjoy your time off from the stress, and reach out if you need anything The OSU is the best!
Both, for sure. But I like knowing when to expect it rather than it taking me by surprise at an inconvenient time
Do you have any idea when they’ll send out the email that we use to set up our buckeye email? (I paid my fee at like 7:30 this morning, not that I’m eager ) if that helps
you are a saint for calling, thank you! I was dying to know a timeline since they seem ahead of what they told us on interview day, but I was too scared to call lol
Hang on to that enthusiasm haha. Remember how good today feels. It’s gets you through the hard days!
As for buckeyemail...I honestly don’t remember. The buckeyeID that they give you for admissions is the same one that you have through school but I can’t rmember if they had to give you access to the email or what. I can try to look back and see.
Welcome to C/O 2023
Is there a facebook page to join for accepted applicants??
Tomorrow is my birthday and if I find out I'm rejected I will flip
I got my email at 12:50 CST
Your user name tho lol
Probably not yet but they usually make it soon
So glad someone appreciates it
GI ulcers was the first thing that came to mind lol
Question for any current OOS students, how difficult is it to get in-state residency your first year?
I got residency last year as an OOS student. They ask a lot of questions/paperwork when you actually go to apply but as long as you follow their rules you’ll get residency. I don’t know anyone in my class who didn’t get it.
Is there anything we need to do after we pay the professional acceptance fee? Or will they contact us whenever we need to do something else
You'll get an email later on with how to set up email and all that.

I called admissions yesterday with a question about transcripts and stuff and she said that they’ll send an email with info on how to set up our email and stuff usually 3-5 days after paying the acceptance fee
So do we think acceptances, rejections, and waitlists will come out Friday?
Give them a call and ask if you’d like to confirm my call. Of course a different admissions representative will pick up, so maybe they will have a different answer. It will be valuable, if you call post it here!
