Hello. This is my first post here at SDN, but it seems like an appropriate topic since I will be at Ohio State in August. I'm looking forward to getting started. Are you going to be in the LD pathway?

I am leaning towards ISP at this point. I fared poorly in the PBL lottery.
Waiting Impatiently- What other schools are possibilities for you and what state are you in?
Are there any more Ohio State people who can be coaxed forward?

Im deciding between PBL and LD ... I'm #5 on the men's waitlist in PBL, but with the changes in LD that would incorporate some PBL and other sweet stuff, im waiting till they tell us definite new curriculum.

Anyone else know more details about the new curriculum? (besides the Seniors Program that they are also introducing).

Unless I hear something from UMich or Pitt, I will at OSU next year. I think I was the #32 male for PBL... so it looks like I have to choose between LD and ISP. Havent really thought about it much.

Yes, out-of-state waitlist is moving. I'm a Cal applicant and have just got an offer from Sharon today (via phone). So the waitlist is moving :wink: I'm still deciding between UCSD and OSU.

Sorry about UC Westside Spartan. I'm rooting for you with OSU! And for the record I am in-state and an OSU undergrad alum-AND last time I checked I was #25/31 on the women's PBL waitlist.

Aww, thanks quaileggs... I know you've followed my progress before (or lack thereof)! I'm pretty sure I'd want to go the LD pathway, so at least that's not ANOTHER waitlist to be concerned about.

HanSolo, I think you should go to UCSD. :wink: Sunny California vs. the frigid, windy plains of Ohio? It's a no-brainer! No conflict of interest here of course! 😀

Hi Guys. This is my first post, though I've looked at this board for about a year now. I got the lottery for PBL, but I'm still on the alternate list for admissions! I was supposed to interview in early october, but I left for study abroad for 3 months in scotland. When I came back Dec 15, my interview was Dec 17. I really liked OSU, and I was the last interview of the day. I had plenty of time for my excitement to become anxiety and I totally froze in the interview. I'm still hoping to get in. good luck with all your stuff. Hopefully I'll see you guys in the fall.

Welcome Dave409 and I hope you get into OSU. I tell you what, I felt bad for those who had those 3rd intervier slots. A little too much time to sit and think about all the possible things that could go wrong. Anyone else in this group interview on the same day as me (October 31st)?
