I live in Ohio.
For my secondary essay, I want to keep the focus on my intention to stay close to my family after graduation. i.e. the likelihood that I will one day be serving Ohio's patients.
Do you think that's appropriate, or do you think they would be more interested in hearing about what I plan to do at Ohio State in terms of research, etc. and/or what kind of physician I want to be.
Technically, Ohio State exists to create doctors that will serve Ohio's sick. That's why I want to keep the focus on that. But some admissions officials have their own ideas about things, and Ohio State admits a crazy number of out of state people (around 40%).
