Did you feel like you did badly? Honestly, I would just chill and hope for the best. If you don't like your score, then you can start to review the material again.

I agree with OSO up there. Reviewing now might even hurt you in the long run if you don't get away for a minute. A lot of people do somewhat better than they thought they did and judging from this board and Twitter, a lot of people seemed to have some difficulty with PS and/or BS today so your scaled score might improve. Take the month off, enjoy life, and when you get your score in February, you can decide if you want to take it again. Besides, even if you started studying again on February 25th, you STILL have MONTHS until the very first day of 2014's application cycle.

If your score isn't where you want it to be, when would you recommend retaking? March? April?

I'm not an expert or anything but considering I retook mine, I asked a few admissions specialists what they think. Obviously, the earlier you submit your AMCAS or AACOMAS application the better. The first day you can submit primary apps starts June 1st so if you took the MCAT in late April, you will still have your score in time for day one. I don't see a reason to take it in March if you have the choice, especially when it's only a few weeks away.

Past that, it's subjective. If you know what GPA / MCAT the average "matriculant" has to the schools you want to get to, you can compare yours with that. If you have a higher GPA, then taking the MCAT a little later (June?) won't be bad. If your GPA is somewhat or significantly lower, then you might want to apply as early as possible (April MCAT).

find out scores and sign up to retake (cancel if my scores are good) and most importantly take a break from this stuff. i've been super burnt out and tired of this mcat stuff

lololol at people giving up exercise to study for the MCAT. If you can't find at least 1-2 hours for exercise every 2-3 days, you've got some issues with time-management.

^ says the unhealthy, nonlifting poster. DYEL? Umadbro ya you mad
Real world?! Don't give me that. There are people who work just as hard or even harder than us premeds, nontrad or not, and can still have a bit of exercise.

You will be a great doctor for assuming I am an dingus and judging sarcastically based on a semi-serious statement made on a forum.

Probably gonna learn a new language, start lifting/running again, and read more

Start shadowing more doctors + maybe go to Europe (especially England and Germany) to watch soccer matches LIVE!!

Tonight I drink and hang out with friends for once. Tomorrow I go to the gym
