I mean are they trying to toy with me. Basically they final got everything including letters of recommendation. To inform me of this they sent me a post card so obviously I was cringing until I flipped it over.(Since in the real world when you look for a job a post card means "Guess what, you ain't hired and ain't worth the time or money for even a letter.) I mean are they trying to give me a heart attack? 😀

LOL. When I first got the postcard, I didn't even notice it and for some reason it wound up under my couch. It was there for like three days before I discovered it. Drexel should invest in new stationary.

I never got a postcard! Just the letter for an interview.. weird.

Which reminds me... what if... interview notices were lost in the mail?? It doesn't seem that these schools really would care to follow up on them.. they have enough people to fill that interview slot..

That'd suck big time!!!

HAH!
My husband had to apply to medical school twice. The first time he didn't even receive an interview invitation from Drexel. This was a few years back. The following year when he went to his Drexel interview, the interviewer asked him how his interview went the year before. My husband was like what? I didn't get an interview last year. The interviewer reached into his file and pulled out a copy of the invitation from the year before. Either it didn't get sent or it got lost in the mail!! (He's now a student at Drexel)

Of course, I joke that the reason he didn't get it was because he had to still be in New York so he could fall in love with me 😍 If he had been at Drexel the year before he started, I wouldn't have had the same opportunity to get to know him. We got married 2 years ago in the middle of his first year 🙂

I agree, very cute. Your kids are going to be so damn smart. 😛

very cute story...I guess everything happens for a reason

on the other hand, your story also makes me wonder if any other schools send snail-mail only interview invites? it seems likely that things could get lost

Tigress,

That's such a cute story. 😀 😀
Funny how things work out sometimes, isn't it???
