Hi~!!

Has anyone used old AAMC MCAT exams for their verbal section to practice CARS?? Is it still relevant and would it be good practice?? I'm really struggling to find more material for CARS

The only change in MCAT 2015 CARS is that they removed science based passages. Old AAMC MCAT exam is great material to look at. Focus on humanities passages.

Perfect! Great to know~!! Did you use old AAMC mcat exams for old verbal passages as well? How has it worked out for you?

I went on Reddit but it seemed sketch. Are there any legit sources, or can you provide a link by chance?
Thank you very much!

I wish my CARS were much higher so you can recommend you guys to read Jane Austen for leisure as the sole preparation...

It didn't work 🙁

I got a 12 in VR on the old version. I thought the practice tests were the absolute best practice. I didn't feel like it was necessary to study too much for this section once you had an understanding of what they are looking for. There's a definite strategy to understanding what they're looking for in the answers and once it "clicks", it's hard to study much more IMO.

How does one access the old verbal?
Thank you!

There used to be a site (called Chris MCAT stuff, or something very close) where someone posted all the old AAMC R tests. Word on the street is some really cutthroat premed reported the site to AAMC (probably after downloading everything him/herself), causing it to be shut down.
