At which age would adcoms consider someone as an "older applicant?" I heard that med schools are more receptive towards young ug grads.

An "older" applicant is someone between the ages of about 25 to mid-fifties. That is a lot of wiggle room. With recent science work recent good grades, good MCAT scores and good reasons for choosing medical school now they do somehat better than the youngsters in securing admission.

I'm really hoping they like 26 year olds

I'll actually be 27 by the time I start. I'm so glad I didn't try this when I was 22-24.
