older aamc tests

so whats the deal with the older aamc tests (1-3) are they supposed to be harder, easier or just plain different?! are they good indicators of the real deal? or are only 4-7 better predictions? i found kaplan was not a good prediction. i score better on kaplan then aamc. i am so confused
