I really want to go to pharmacy school but the cost alone scares me. I'm married with 3 kids & I work full time....I've been trying to convince myself that this could be the best way to help my family & accomplish something I've always wanted to do for myself. Even though I'm 29 & will be starting from scratch. Lol

Federal loans as well as my job.

Personally, I wouldn't go to pharmacy school if I had to take a noticeable sum of money from Grad Plus loans purely for the sake of having debt that can get out of control.

Do you work full time? I was just told by 2 pharmacy schools that most students do not work full time b/c of the rigorous program. That just crushed my dreams. We have a mortgage. I can't afford to not work.....oh well!

You have a job, you have a family, you have a life. Why give that up for 4 years of sacrifice that may not even be a sure bet?

    What does your husband do?

Will you be okay, literally neglecting your family because you have to study?

Will you be okay struggling to study when you have been out of school and do not remember everything as clearly?

I don't think it's worth it. Your 10 year old better study hard and learn on his own. You can worry about his college education later.

I'm almost full-time. I pull at least 35 hours per week along with class and I'm still passing my classes.

Really? Interesting. I'm doing a lot of research to make sure this is something I can handle.

I have a classmate who has 4 kids and still works 25/30 hrs as a RN while in school. You can do it if you want too. She takes out federal loans. Doesn't take gradplus.
