There is an anticipated opening for an OMS internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI starting July 1, 2008. The duration would be one year in length. Duties of the intern would include helping with the outpatient clinic, performing dentoalveolar procedures, performing IV sedations, taking care of emergency patients, and assisting in the OR. The call is spread equally among the residents so you will have 3 out of 4 weekends off. There are full benefits including excellent health insurance, a very generous Cont. Ed fund to attend meetings, extremely reasonable resident housing that is a five minute walk from the hospital, a salary of ~45K per year, three weeks vacation and one week of CE meeting time.
