I filled my out last yr and I think I chose Biology or life science field. Isn't there this choice any more? I definitely don't see how it's a behavioral science.

I would say mark it in this order depending
1) Biology / Life Science
2) Chemistry
3) Other ??? (I don't know why there wouldn't be a bio listing)

Is it taught by the chemistry dept., or the biology dept.? That is how you classify it.

I sincerely hope you didn't take biochem from the psych dept...🙂

They're calculated the same way. But Biochem is more Chem than Bio, so I'd do chem.

there are directions for it in the help section of the aamcas. biochemistry is considered chemistry and any biochem class w/ more molecular biology to it is biology.

My school has two versions of biochemistry. One is taught by the bio department and one is taught by the chemistry department.
