On Hold at Case?

Anyone on hold at Case? I was just notified today, and apparently it's like a temporary waitlist, and you find out the final decision by March? Does anyone know how this works, why they have this (as opposed to a normal wait list), or are in a similar situation?

yeah, I am in the same boat. Interviewed the first week of December and was put on Case's hold list less than a week later. Haven't heard from them since. I was under the impression that they constantly review those on the hold list though and that you could, supposedly, get an acceptance letter at any time. Did your letter say we won't be notified until March?
