On hold at SUNY Downstate?

Is anyone still waiting to hear from SUNY Downstate? I interviewed in Feb and got the hold for final decision letter at the end of March. The letter said a decision would be made by the end of April but I haven't heard anything yet.

If it is okay can I ask what your GPA and MCAT scores were? I'm interested in Downstate and I would like to know what they base acceptance or waitlist on. Thanks

I heard from them about 2 or 3 weeks ago - Wait List.
sneverson - i have a 3.55/37, but i dont think downstate is THAT huge on numbers. From what i gather they dig NY residents, particularly in or in close proximity to NYC.

I had a 3.0 undergrad.
3.5 in grad school at BU med. Was in the MA in Medical Sciences program.
32Q on the MCAT.

I'm not sure what Downstate looks for. Last year I was rejected 3 weeks after my application was complete and I was interviewed this year and my application was very similar between the two years.

I still haven't heard from Downstate and was told they still haven't made a decision yet.
