On MCAT Test Day, you arrive to the test @ 8 AM, but what time does the test start?

Does the test start shortly after 8, or does it take forever to fill out your name on the bubble sheet, etc. What time did everyone end up starting the test?

What time did everyone end up leaving for the day? I will be so happy when that time comes

We started about 8:30 or 9, and I was out of there by about 4:30.

But there were only about a dozen or so students at my test centre, so things went pretty quickly.

ok, you are worrying too much. SDN is very addictive, I recommend you go study and stop posting! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> I have been trying to study all day and all I have done is post and read SDN and talk on AIM. Thank god i'm not studying for the mcats -it's only a little midterm. But YOU need to go study! :wink:

and yes you will have to wait forever when u get there, i think we started after 9 (maybe even 9:30).

Oh, and it takes a bit of time to get registered in the morning. They have to take a thumbprint, assign you a seat, go over the rules about a million times.

You have to fill in your name and social about a million times. I never had mine memorized until I wrote the MCAT. On every section of the test, you have to fill the same information... It gets pretty repetitive.

There were 88 of us in one conference room at a local hotel. I arrived at 7:30am. The line for the entrance ritual was long, but I was at the front by virtue of where I happened to be waiting when I got there (pure chance). I got into the test room by 8:10am but our test didn't start until 10:15am. We started the BS section at 5:20pm and finished the critique/comment sheet just before 7:30pm.

I don't know why but I always thought the test was at 9am. But being nervous I got there early, around 8:30. I thought about just relaxing in the car, but I thought... what the hell, and went to the test site. I was surprised when I was the 2nd to the last person there! Luckily we ended up starting around 8:45, or else I'd have be FUBAR'ed!

we started at 5 in the morning. I'm glad I got there at 4:30 in the morning.
