Worst teacher I have ever EVER had. I go to Wake Forest University, where I took a Chem class this summer. A teacher from Salem college (small college in Winston-Salem) tought our class. First day of class he says "you are all probably smarter than me, and I am a bad teacher." ...Ok, then why do you teach? Oh another thing. above 94 = A 94-84 = B 84-74 = C .... you get the point. Ok im sorry but I'm sure you all understand how big of a difference a B is from an A- or a C from a B-... ESPECIALLY at a difficult school. Well go ahead and sign me up for post BACC because I am a rising sophmore and already have 2 C's. (one I deserved for not studying.... and one for his class). Example: he takes of random -2's in the middle of writen problems for no reason. And this last test I had a 96.... oh but wait, a 0/16 makes it an 80. Whats the 0/16 for? Not "using" a chart to solve a problem... but yes, I did use the chart, unfortunantly he failed to say not only do you have to use it, but you have to describe in detail how you used it. THIS WAS NOT A HARD PROBLEM. A fifth grader could have done it in their head. So, my 80 (which should have been a 96) gives me a C in Chemistry.
MORAL:
1) ASK previous students about a teacher.
2) DROP the class immediatly if the professor has a &%@# up grading scale
3) Run as far away as you can if the first thing your teacher says is "you are smarter than me and I am a bad teacher."
4) Ask bad teachers what they mean when they vaguly ask for something in a problem.
5) DO NOT TAKE SUMMER SCHOOL AT YOUR SCHOOL WITH A TEACHER FROM AN EASIER SCHOOL. They are trying to prove something and usually succeed by almost failing your entire class.
...so BACC here I come, oh keep in mind I just finished my Freshmen year at Wake.
