I was wondering if anyone had experience taking online courses to buffer GPA? Honestly I'm already taking a course by podcasts for funsies, and if possible I'd like to get a grade for it if I'm going to be doing it anyway.
Nothing I take would be a pre-req or probably even science related.

I have taken two online courses that (fortunately) have helped raise my GPA a bit. I actually just finished one this semester. Both of these courses however were not BCPM one was African American History and the other Psychology Human Lifespan Development (just finished). Neither of these courses were very easy. If you're not one to do things on your own don't take any online course. No one is going to remind you of the asignment deadlines, and you're going to have to check blackboard (or whatever system your school uses) every day. So in short, yes it has benefited me.

Meh. I took a lot of my prereqs online. At a CC. It went fine for me.
