Program-Specific Info / Q's Online pre-reqs

Just curious. Do schools actually know if you have taken an online course? It really doesn't say ln transcript. Someone I know took AP online and they got in to TUFTS.

Any thoughts on this?

If it doesn't say on the transcript, I don't know how they could possibly know. But even if they did, I highly doubt it would matter.

They review hundreds of applications and I would bet they know most, if not all, depending on how they're notated on the transcript.
However, I'm not sure it even matters. Some schools don't even look at individual classes or grades (other than to see if pre-reqs have been met). They simply rank by gpa, gre and go from there.
