I noticed that none of the "head to head" stuff they cited in that made any comparisons between escitalopram and citalopram.

My question for the Forest reps is always whether the allegedly milder side-effect profile of Lexapro actually would justify the patient (or their insurance--someone has to pay for this stuff) paying the greater cost vs. generic citalopram. Of course, I always prescribe citalopram b/c it has fewer "drug-drug interactions" with the cocaine, cannabis, and alcohol my patients will go out and use next week anyway...
