Hi guys,
I understand that in order to become a medical oncologist, one can either do a 3year heme/onc fellowship or a 2 year onc-only fellowship. Looking through the previous threads I found a comment mentioning that If someone is intending to go into private practice, one must do the heme/onc combined fellowship..is this the general consensus? If so, why is that?
Thanks!
