For personal reasons, I would really like to go to one of the Chicago schools. In order of preference:
Pritzker
Northwestern
Rush
Loyola
UIC
Rosalind Franklin
(I didn't really do much research on those last 3 schools. If anyone disagrees with my ranking in terms of the quality of the school, please let me know and explain why.)
I am OOS but do have family ties in the Chicago area. If I get into any one of these schools, I would withdraw from all non-Chicago schools. So wondering about my chances at these places. Thanks in advance!
GPA: hopefully should end up around 3.75
MCAT: 34
Clinical Volunteering (big hospital + undeserved clinic)
Lab job (some research)
non-science research
sports team
Very high chances at all. Extremely high chances at Loyola, Rush, Rosalind.
They are very OOS friendly. I think you have a great chance at all of them IMO....
PM me if you want more info on Chicago schools/chances as I've gone through a lot of research/applying to the ones you've listed. I'm on my iPhone and can't post a ton now but would really like to help you out if you want it.
