OOS Chances for ANY Chicago school

For personal reasons, I would really like to go to one of the Chicago schools. In order of preference:

Pritzker
Northwestern
Rush
Loyola
UIC
Rosalind Franklin

(I didn't really do much research on those last 3 schools. If anyone disagrees with my ranking in terms of the quality of the school, please let me know and explain why.)

I am OOS but do have family ties in the Chicago area. If I get into any one of these schools, I would withdraw from all non-Chicago schools. So wondering about my chances at these places. Thanks in advance!

GPA: hopefully should end up around 3.75
MCAT: 34

Clinical Volunteering (big hospital + undeserved clinic)
Lab job (some research)
non-science research
sports team

Very high chances at all. Extremely high chances at Loyola, Rush, Rosalind.

They are very OOS friendly. I think you have a great chance at all of them IMO....

Your numbers are good, but I think your chances at the top two schools will depend on the quality and intensity of your ECs.

I would agree, except for Pritzker. It is very difficult to land an interview here, let alone, get accepted.

I'm so sure about going to Chicago that I wish I could feel safe only applying to Chicago schools.

But that wouldn't be smart right?

Right! Consider adding St Louis U, CCOM (Downers Grove), U of Iowa, MCW, SIU if you're from downstate, U of Michigan, MSU. Not Indiana unless you have strong state ties. Maybe U of Wisconsin and some Ohio schools, too, if you want to stay in the vicinity.

ya apply to CCOM as well even though it's D.O. ....it is one of the best in the country.
