Ophtho away. NYU or Columbia?

I have been accepted to do an ophtho away at NYU in July. I've already accepted and begun the process of VA registration. However, Columbia just sent me an email that approved a July away in their Preceptorship in Ophtho rotation.
I was wondering which program is better in terms of getting good clinical/OR experience, face time with attendings, and possible LORs. Also, can I even rescind my acceptance at NYU or would that "black-ball" me?
Any advice is appreciated!

you might want to try asking your question on the ophtho resident forum...

You should probably just stick with the NYU rotation, to avoid all of that drama of dropping out. Plus NYU is a great program with a ton of spots.
