ophtho rotations - how much is too much?

for those that have gone through it, at what point is it overkill in terms of rotations? Is 1.5 months home + one month research + 2 aways too much?

you just described my schedule from July-November when i was a 4th year medical student! some might say it is excessive, but it worked for me.

I did 1 month ophtho, 1 month neuro-ophtho, and 1 month research. I know a retinal surgeon who did 7 months of ophtho in med school.
