hey fellow SDNers, im planning on taking orgo 1 for the upcoming 12 week summer semester and physics1 6week summer and physics2 2nd 6week term. Is it too much to try to do both physics in one summer along with organic? have any of you had similar summer semesters and how was it? i work one day a week so work never interferes with my studying.

I think that's a lot to take because physics and orgo are both hard courses. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's still doable. It depends how quickly you grasp things and how much time you can devote to studying. Also, where you are taking the classes? Taking these courses at a really easy state school is a lot different than going to a really difficult school.

i took summer courses almost every year in college, and i found that its actually a lot easier than the regular semester. taking only two classes at a time is gonna be ok, just because ur gonna have enough time on ur hands for both of them. however, these are two challenging classes at the same time. i'm gonna tell u the truth, it all comes down to this: are u M or F?
physics is a lot easier for guys to understand than it is for girls. i'm really sorry to have to say something so biased (seeing as how i'm a girl and got an A- in physics2), but its true. if ur a guy, itll be a breeze.

im a guy, and i go to florida international univ. i really dont think it will be too bad. i know these classes take lots of study time and thats fine.
