Some of us prior service members that are considering going back in as Medical Officers. But most if not all enlisted are non-traditional students.
I am considering studying outside of the US, probably Australia (Family members and originally from there)
Now if I choose to study abroad, what are some things I need to make sure are "musts"
1. Accepted in all 50 states.
2. Can the military help me with residency? I would like to do service for help through residency.
3. I plan on staying with the Navy, would they accept my MBBS...it would become an MD in 5 years...
4. As long as my degree is accepted in all 50 states the Navy will not frown on it because it is out of the US? (I can still be commissioned right?)
I think that is it, but if you guys have more info you think I should research please include your input.
