hey guys, any recs for how to prepare for oral boards? Seems like there are lots of in-person courses out there.... Anything reputable I can do online or by reading books or is it pretty much necessary to take one of the in-person courses? Thanks!

completely missed that the OP was asking about ORAL boards -- had to delete my message about WRITTEN board prep
(with my apparent reading comprehension problems, I have no idea how I passed the oral boards or why I think it was a good idea to offer some advice/comments!)

Did not use a review course at all. It will be helpful to have a colleague or buddy run through some cases with you too! But I definitely don't think you need a review course unless you feel like you would be super nervous and want to get a better feel for the flow of the test.
