Has anyone used this? I heard about it, and I picked up both volumes, 1 is orgo 1 and 2 is for orgo 2.

From the table of contents it seems like it covers everything. My plan is to solidify my orgo knowledge, and it seems like its written in "common speak" :D

Has anyone else used this for the DAT?

I used it while i was in my ochem class and it helped me learn the material. The book is well written and the analogies he uses are easy and fun to understand.

I also used both of these books to help me with my OChem classes...I thought they were great! They really do break it down and make it easier to understand.

I think it's ok. It's good to start orgo with that book but it's definitely missing a lot of facts.
If you reach certain level, you should definitely look for a better book.
