Anyone know if FTIR, Mass Spec, And NMR are on the MCAT?? If they are do we need to memorize the signature peaks in FTIR and such?? Or are the questions more conceptual?

IR Spec, UV/Vis, C-NMR, and H-NMR + Mass

You would need to memorize the most common ones (like like 5-6 for each)

This isnt true at all.
You maybe need to know some for IR, but they will give you numbers for NMR and other stuff.
But it wouldnt hurt you if you know that 9~10 peak is for aldehyde for NMR as it is one of the most common one they test you on.
