Hey there!!

I have a question regarding medical school applications and Organic Chemistry laboratory requirements. I am applying this year to medical school for admission into the class of 2010, or so I think that I am. I have taken all the prerequisites so far with the exception of Organic Chemistry laboratory. Can one still apply for admission to the 2010 class if one is taking the laboratory over this coming fall and next spring? I've heard this is possible, but something seems a tad fishy... Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

Midterms and finals week = loathing of o chem
every other time = love o chem

it's midterms. therefore, i loathe o chem.

just had to throw that out there. grrr. 😡

i think your case would be fine, this is your last prerequisite class right? just make sure you will take it and pass it soon.

Guys and Girls,

You've put my mind at rest and for that I thank all of you. I was starting to think that I would have to take the MCAT's, do the whole application process, work my 50 hours a week at the firm, take two upper levels, and do the blasted organic lab this summer, amongst other varied activities from hell. I think that I would have required a whole vatful of ativan just to keep my nerves in check. One less thing to stress about. All is good. Again, thank you.
