I have a great problem for you,,,,, none of my students got it correct. Can you name 3 yes I said 3 ... groups that are Ortho/Para directing but will deactivate the benzene ring? For the DAT, I think all you need to know is that a HALOGEN is o/p but deactivating,,,,, but can anyone find two more?
