Hello everyone! As you can probably tell from my exuberance, I will begin my matriculation at UW-Madison School of Medicine. I am both excited and nervous about what's to come. This may sound strange, but my mother doesn't really want me to go to medical school. I am the baby and she just doesn't want me to have to go through any challenges. I can appreciate that though. She's a sweety by the way...anywho, I look forward to chatting with you all as I continue my journey towards being a competent and caring doctor.

Hello Heezy, good luck with orientation and your first year! I'm sure that your mother will grow to accept you in medical school once she realizes how matured and competent you have become. I am MS2 at U Maryland, don't worry about being nervous, everyone is nervous before school starts! It sounds like you will be fine. Good luck.
