Wow! That was a good read. You bring up some good points! That was an expensive lesson to learn and we learned the same one. My wife is so awesome and self-driven she got a phD (and debt) and now she is not using it. Luckily with my ortho income, we do just fine. It was nice having her in school with me b/c we studied alot together. I saw my classmates' spouses' sometimes pressure them to slack on studies...

I think my wife may use her degree part-time after kids are grown up? Ortho is flexible and enjoyable and could be a great part-time gig?
