Is anyone here interested in psychiatry? If so, will a degree in osteopathic medicine be a good route to take? What does the osteopathic approach contribute to psychiatry?

Thank you!

I know this topic was discussed in length a few months ago.

Keep an eye out for the return of the SEARCH function.

As for now, you may want to contact:

Americal College of Osteopathic Neuropsychiatry
28595 Orchard Lake Road
Suite 200
Farmington Hills, MI 48334-2979

In my own opinion, I don't think becoming a DO will necessarily make you a better Psychiatrist than an MD, but it is one way to become a good physician.

Good luck.

Thanks, JP! Are you in Connecticut? Please let me know as I'm interested in meeting people who are interested in osteopathic medicine from this area.

Thanks again!
