    Hey everyone,

I'll be applying to MOT programs next year, but I have a question regarding how one's GPA is calculated when applying through OTCAS.

I have two F's in classes that I later on repeated and got A's in. Will OTCAS use these F's when calculating my GPA? Or will they only use the new grades that I received (A's)?

    Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure they average the 2 grades. Some schools outside of OTCAS take the highest, though, so I'd recommend applying to them if those are pre reqs that you failed. Also, don't worry if you have to move out of state. My closest program is at least an hour and a half away. Most of the programs I'm applying to are 3/4 hours away. Lots of us will be doing it, and it's only 2 years (or 3) years, with 6 months of fieldwork where you have some say on your location.
