Oto Research Track Residencies

I'm curious to hear about the research tracks in ENT, what they are like and how the faculty support them, and what kind of backgrounds the research track-ers had when applying to ENT as a med student.

I'm an MS3 MD-only with a below average set of numbers but a pretty substantial research/publication section to my application. I'm pretty interested in these 7-year research tracks. Any personal or second-hand insight would be appreciated.
