SDN volunteers and members stand with the premedical community in denouncing Conde Nast's removal of /r/mcat from reddit. Having been through multiple legal battles ourselves, we know some organizations will aggressively go after students that are sharing information freely and legally.

We find this removal to be inappropriate because it has a chilling effect across the community. Students should have the right to freely discuss the MCAT, study strategies, and share information under fair-use laws.

Understand that our volunteers strongly support copyright and do remove valid DMCA complaints. However also know that SDN will not kowtow to organizations that willfully abuse copyright law in an attempt to prevent legal and free discussion.
