Hi all, just finalizing my ERAS application for Psych residencies. I'm wondering how many Psych LOR should I obtain out of a possible total of 4? I have 2-3 Psych letters but I plan on having at least 1 Neuro LOR. I also have 1 Family med, 1 Peds, and 1 Research LOR from a professor that has been my research advisor in a psych related research project for the past 3-4 months. Not sure if I should have 2 or 3 psych letters, but I definitely will have at least 4 LORs. In terms of my psych LORs: 1 of them is for an inpatient psych rotation, 1 is for a C/L rotation, and 1 is from a Child psych rotation.
Thanks!

Use all 4, there is no downside to using them unless you think one might be bad.

As long as you have at least 2 good psych letters, use the other two which are likely to be strongest.
