Outside Scholarship Opportunities for Med School?

After taking a deeper look into the financing of medical school, it looks like debt part of the med school experience. With loans being the gold standard in financial aid offices I was wondering if there were any outside/private scholarships that people could apply to in order to alleviate some of this burden?

The military has scholarships that cover your full tuition/expenses but then you owe them four years of your life and probably more.
