Outta State Rotations for PCOM????

Can 3rd or 4th year PCOM students tell me how hard it is to get away rotations in the 3rd year? Do all of the core rotations need to be in Philly? I believe I met a PCOM student who said he had 8 of the 11 rotations out of state, like in Texas and Calif. Can that be done and how hard is it to do? What do you have to do to do this????? Thanks

I'm an MSIV at PCOM now. I am not from Philadelphia and I did TONS of rotations out of the area (California, Nevada, Washington D.C., Florida) ...

True. There are a few core (more in the 3rd year than in the 4th --actually only 3 in the 4 th year that are MANDATORY Philadelphia) but for the most part, if you have a good reason to go away, the Dean will let you.
